Cruises from Galveston to Aruba, Curaçao, and Grand Cayman?

If you are a Galveston cruiser, you know that itineraries include beautiful destinations, most often in the Western Caribbean.

In August of this year, Margaritaville at Sea announced that it would arrive in Galveston in the fall of 2027.

Later in September, Margaritaville at Sea revealed that the Beachcomber, their newest addition to the fleet, would sail from Galveston for a limited time, offering four- to seven-night cruise itineraries.

Since that time, Galveston cruisers have been excited to see destinations such as Oranjestad, Aruba; Willemstad, Curaçao; and George Town, Grand Cayman on the Galveston cruise itinerary.

Where are the Margaritaville Cruises from Galveston to Aruba?

In addition to the excitement, there was a bit of confusion.

While it is true that the Southern Caribbean is a part of the Beachcomber’s itinerary, it is included in the inaugural Galveston cruise itinerary.

This 9-day Southern Caribbean inaugural cruise is a repositioning cruise, meaning that it is a one-way cruise from the original home port to the new home port.

If cruisers want to cruise on the Beachcomber to the Southern Caribbean and end the itinerary in Galveston, Texas, they must depart from the home port in Miami, Florida, on Saturday, September 25, 2027, to later disembark in Galveston, Texas, on October 4, 2027.

Although this cruise is not round-trip from Galveston, it affords cruisers the opportunity to vacation in Florida and Galveston depending on their home port, whether residential or visiting.
